Angela Lawless
​
Angela Lawless has been working in Pro-Consult since 2000. Angela is an IACP accredited Counsellor.
She has a higher diploma in Gestalt Therapy and is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland. Specific area of interest and experience are: Abuse Issues, Disabilities, Stress, Anxiety and Depression.

Dermot Hughes
​
Dermot Hughes BSc (Psychology); B.A.Th.; B.Eng; MSc; Dip Counselling and Psychotherapy; Post Grad Dip CBT has been involved in Counselling for over 18 years and is an accredited member of the IACP and associate member of BABCP.. His experience as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist is wide ranging both in Ireland and abroad.
He has worked in Chile, Sri Lanka and the U.S.A. He is also a fluent Spanish speaker. Areas of expertise include Bereavement, Depression, Relationship Issues, Anxiety and Stress-Related Concerns, Personal Development, Panic Attacks, Trauma Events, Cross-Cultural Issues and Anger Management. He uses a wide variety of counselling techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Person-Centred Approach.
Works Thursday evenings after 6pm & Friday afternoons after 2pm

Iggy Clarke

Iggy Clarke BSc.,B.A.B.D. is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors/Psychotherapists (IACP) accredited member of the Institue of Guidance Counsellors (IGC) and a postgraduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Areas of speciality include Bereavement, Loss, Depression, Anxiety, Suicide Issues, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Couple Counselling.
Iggy works Tuesdays and Thursdays (normal office hours)


Bernadette McCartan

Bernadette Mc Cartan B.A., Grad.Dip. (Counselling & Psychotherapy). MIACP., MIAHIP.
Bernadette holds a B.A. Degree in Psychology & Sociology from NUI Galway and a Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from DublinCityUniversity. She is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP), and the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), working within these Association’ s Code of Ethics.
Dr. Kathleen FitzGerald

Dr. Kathleen FitzGerald, BSocSc Dip Psych MPhil MCoun DipGestalt Therapy DPsychotherapy.
Dr. Kathleen FitzGerald is Co-Founder of Pro Consult and a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She is a Registered Psychologist and Associated Fellow with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and an Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Following her primary degree in Social Science at University College Dublin, Kathleen did postgraduate psychology at UCD and later completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology (University of Edinburgh) and a Masters in Counselling (University College Cork). She is a qualified Gestalt Therapist, having trained with Erving and Miriam Polster in San Diego, USA and with Gestalt Associates of Los Angeles, USA. In 2012 Kathleen was awarded a Doctorate in Psychotherapy from Dublin City University.
Kathleen works with individuals and groups and is also involved in training. She works with a range of psychological/emotional difficulties drawing from her wide and varied professional background to select the most effective approach for each individual client. Additionally, she is available for supervision of counsellors and other professionals.
